BANGALORE: There is some happy news for the students of Karnataka appearing for the Common Entrance Test (CET) on May 21 and 22, the dates of which clashed with the online BITS, Pilani exam. According to a circular from the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), the Government of Rajasthan has intervened and has requested BITS, Pilani to reschedule the exam dates of all students whose onlines exams clash with the CET. “Some of the students appearing for BITS, Pilani online exam have reported a clash of date with CET exam scheduled to be held on May 21 and 22. A list of such students was sent to the Principal Secretary (Higher and Technical Education), Rajasthan and also to the Registrar BITS, Pilani requesting the BITS Pilani authorities to suggest an alternate date to those students whose dates clash with CET exam. The government of Rajasthan has intervened and has requested BITS Pilani authorities to reschedule the exam dates of all students whose online exam dates clash with that of CET,” the circular stated. All such candidates are requested to login to the BITS Pilani website (www.bits-pilani.ac.in) and open the format showing the availability of dates for taking up the online exam.
