New Delhi: With the growing popularity of yoga, the ancient form of meditation, across the country, Bihar MLAs too have decided to jump into the fray and learn the art of living.
They want to reinstate the faith in 'human values' and dedicate themselves to doing good to the society - and who better to teach them how to do it that the art of living of spiritual guru, Sri Sri Ravishankar?
"Living is an art. A majority of us do not understand the beautiful aspects of life until it is too late," Sri Sri Ravishankar was quoted by news agency PTI as saying.
"Don't hunt for motives in others' lapses, be compassionate and accept others for what they are," he was further quoted as saying.
Legislators, including Speaker Uday Narain Choudhry, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi and Health Minister Chandra Mohan Roy attended the camp organised by the spiritual guru at the Bihar Assembly annexe.
Sri Sri Ravishankar taught the MLAs the 'sudharashan kriya' and the way to attend 'universal peace'.
Explaining that the 'kriya' is an established antidote to negativisim and helps restore harmony in the body and thought, he advised the people's representatives to adopt a broad outlook.
