HYDERABAD: Union minister and incharge of AP affairs Ghulam Nabi Azad’s brief halt at Shamshabad airport on Saturday gained political significance in view of proposed dialogue process with the leaders of both the regions from July 25.  APCC president Botcha Satyanarayana, former APCC chief D Srinivas, Telangana Congress MPs Ponnam Prabhakar, S Rajaiah, K Rajagopal Reddy, Anjan Kumar Yadav, Telangana Congress Monitoring Group (TCMG) convenor G Niranjan, former minister Mohd Ali Shabber were among those who met Azad at the airport’s VIP lounge after his return from Gulbarga on Saturday evening.Both Botcha and Srinivas met Azad separately for about 15 minutes each and discussed the political situation in the region.Earlier in the day, Azad arrived at the airport along with his cabinet colleague Mallikarjun Kharge. They were received by deputy chief minister C Damodar Rajanarsimha and labour minister D Nagender. Later, they all left for Gulbarga by a chopper to attend the foundation stone laying ceremony of ESIC.  It is learnt that Azad had reportedly enquired about the prevailing situation in Telangana particularly after the suicide of a youth in Delhi, with Damodar Rajanarasimha and Nagender.Meanwhile, Botcha Satyanarayana who had recently held talks with the Telangana Congress public representatives, has now called for a meeting with Seemandhra leaders at Gandhi Bhavan here on July 26.
