The Delhi government has asked for 2,000 acres of land from the Centre for building bus depots.
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy CM Manish Sisodia met Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu on Thursday.
Kejriwal was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
The Delhi government has asked for 2,000 acres of land from the Centre for building bus depots. Earlier this month, the DDA asked the Delhi government to approach the Urban Development Ministry saying that any request for free land to park buses can only be processed through an amendment to the land holding rules.
Sisodia said that there should be government to government transfer of land.
