HYDERABAD: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday served notices on six more companies, who invested in companies owned by YSR Congress president Jagan Mohan Reddy. These six companies were asked to depose before the CBI in the next couple of days. With this the CBI has completed questioning representatives of 25 companies. The CBI was given time till August 1 to complete its preliminary inquiry into Jagan’s alleged ill-gotten wealth and the tainted Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) deal with Emaar. AP High Court is scheduled to hear the matter on Monday before taking a decision whether a full-fledged probe should be ordered in these two cases. CBI had already submitted its preliminary report to the High Court. Meanwhile, representatives from Sandur Power and Janani Infra appeared before the CBI on Friday. Vijay Sai Reddy who represented Sandur Power is understood to have submitted certain documents pertaining to the company to CBI officials.
