Amma to visit Srirangam temple

CHENNAI: Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa will be offering prayers to Lord Ranganatha in Srirangam on Wednesday — her birthday according to her birth star Makam. The day assumes more significance as it falls on a full moon day. AIADMK functionaries have made arrangements such as feeding the poor and other charitable activities across TN. Milk abhishekham in 64 pots, annadanam and golden chariot procession will be held at Sri Kapaaleeswarar temple. Priests will chant Sri Maha Lalithaa Sahasranama and Sri Maha Rudram.
