8 DCCs to get new chiefs in two days

HYDERABAD: The much awaited reconstitution of the Pradesh Congress Committee and appointment of DCC presidents are likely to begin in a couple of days.According to APCC president Botcha Satyanarayana, the exercise has been completed in respect of eight DCCs and three city Congress Committees. The eight DCCs include Medak, Mahabubnagar, Nalgonda, Vizianagaram, Prakasam, East and West Godavari districts. The three City Congress Committees are of Ongole, Nellore and Nizamabad.According to sources, the APCC chief will announce the names of eight DCC and three city Congress committee presidents in a few days.According to party sources, MLA K Veerabhadra Swami will be the new chief of Vizianagaram DCC. K Madhusudan Gupta will head Anantapur DCC, while T Nandeshwar Goud will be the new DCC chief of Medak. The reconstitution of the PCC is likely to take some more time.
