India Book of Records representatives Dr Chintapatla Venkata Chary and Muniparthi Singh who were present during the preparation of laddu, presented the certificate of India Book of Records to the sweet house owner Saladi Venkateswara Rao on Monday night.
The laddu is meant for the Ganesh idol installed at Pushkar Ghat.
Venkateswara Rao said they prepared a 5,570 kg laddu last year for an entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.
