A 32-year-old man died on Wednesday after he suddenly collapsed while working out at a gym in Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi. The man has been identified as Deepak Gupta.
The incident was captured in the gym’s CCTV, which suggests that Deepak might have suffered a brain stroke during exercise leading to his collapse, a TOI report said.

In the video, the man can be seen holding his head and trembling as people quickly came to his aid, assisting him in sitting upright and offering him water to drink.
Deepak followed his usual gym routine when he suddenly experienced a severe headache. A video from the gym shows him holding his head, seemingly in pain.
He had been a dedicated gym enthusiast for the past decade and a frequent competitor in fitness events. Deepak was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment where he was declared dead.
Last year, a 19-year-old man lost his life while working out on a treadmill in a gym in Ghaziabad’s Khoda area. The deceased was identified as Siddharth Kumar, a resident of Siwan, Bihar. He was living in Khoda with his father.
CCTV footage of the incident showed two men coming to Kumar’s rescue after he fell while running on a treadmill. Siddharth, the only son of his parents, took admission in the graduation college this year. He was working out in the gym for the last six months.
