32 held in sorcery case

BHADRACHALAM: Police on Wednesday arrested 32 persons on the charges of burning two tribals alive on the suspicion of practising sorcery at Vissapuram village.
Vade Bhadra Rao, Chandra Rao, S Venkatesh, Ramu and 28 others of the village were arrested in the case, said police. It may be noted that the accused allegedly beat up two persons Vade Dharmaiah and Sunnam Mangaiah and burnt them alive in a nearby forest suspecting that two persons were practising sorcery. Bhadrachalam CI Ramoji Ramesh, SI Ramesh investigated the case and arrested the accused.
