New Delhi: The Osian's Cinefan film festival is serving up as many as 10 world premieres for movie buffs in the Capital.

Delhiites will have the first look at eight desi flicks and one film each from Indonesia and Saudi Arabia in the week-long fest.

The eighth edition of the annual festival showcasing the best of Asian and Arab cinema was inaugurated on Saturday with the screening of Pan Nalin's highly anticipated romantic tale Valley of Flowers.

The film, in Hindi and Japanese, stars Milind Soman, Naseeruddin Shah and French actress Mylene Jampanoi in the lead roles.

Fans are also waiting with bated breath for Shah's directorial debut Yun Hota Toh Kya Hota, which links the stories of four people from dissimilar backgrounds.

Renowned filmmaker Girish Kasaravalli, a four-time National Award winner, is showcasing his latest Kannada venture Nayi Neralu (In The Shadow Of The Dog) that will be vying for honours in the Indian Competition section.

Also in the fray is Teen Yaari Katha (Tale of Three Friends), directed by Abhijit Guha and Sudeshna Roy, which depicts the changing mores and culture of the lower classes in India in the context of globalisation.

Anjan Dutt's The Bong Connection, a satirical look at the Bengali community worldwide, is another film vying for attention in the flood of premieres this year.
