As per the video, KTR’s van was inside a narrow lane when the accident occurred. It happened when the supporters were running along with the vehicle as KTR was greeting people from the barricaded rooftop of the car. As the car suddenly stopped, the leaders toppled on each other, the barricade broke and many fell.
KTR somehow managed to balance with his hands and was safe.
Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Minister and KTR’s father K Chandrasekhar Rao filed nominations from Kamareddy and Gajwel assembly constituencies earlier.
Accompanied by his son and sitting Kamareddy MLA Gampa Govardhan and other party leaders, Rao submitted his nomination at the office of the returning officer in Kamareddy, official sources said.
The chief minister also filed his nomination from Gajwel, which he is representing in the outgoing assembly.
Kamareddy is set to witness an exciting contest as the Congress has fielded state Congress president A Revanth Reddy as its candidate from the constituency to take on KCR.
