Actor Prabhas has turned 44 years old today, hence marking the celebration for his fans around the globe. The actor was one of the popular names in the Telugu movie industry before he became a sensation in India with his blockbuster franchise Baahubali. Prabhas proved with these films that the Telugu cinema can achieve a Rs 2,000 crore collection.
He also became the first actor to earn more than $10 million in overseas markets. After this, his stardom catapulted and he became the first choice for the producers and directors for the mass movies. He will greet his fans with his upcoming action movie Salaar, directed by the KGF fame director, Prashanth Neel.
Apart from India, Prabhas has a huge number of fans in foreign countries like Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore and America. The actor’s wax statue was unveiled at the Madame Tussauds in Bangkok after the success of Baahubali in 2017. With this, he also became the first South actor to get a wax statue at this museum. The leading production house UV Creations wished the actor a happy birthday by calling him the “Baahubali of the silver screen”.

The makers of his upcoming movie Salaar also wished the actor and wrote, “Happy Birthday to the unrelenting, unmerciful King’s General Salaar.”

Apart from being a great actor, Prabhas has also been active in several charity works. He has done many service programs for the past 20 years. He made huge donations during typhoons, floods and the Covid-19 pandemic. In 2020, he adopted 1,650 acres of Khazipalli Reserve Forest land and handed over a cheque of Rs 2 crore to the authorities for its development. He offered financial help for the development of the eco-park in the name of his late father Uppalapati Surya Narayana Raju.
Prabhas’s upcoming films will be a huge treat for his fans. Salaar: Part 1 teaser went viral after it was released by the makers. The high-octane action movie will showcase the actor in the mass hero role and is expected to shatter all the previous box office records set by the recently released movies. It is produced under the banner of Hombale Films and will hit the theatres on December 22. After this, he will be seen in the movie Kalki 2898AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. It will also star Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in significant roles.
