How to Take a Screenshot on Galaxy S3
How to Take a Screenshot on Galaxy S3
Is there something on your Samsung Galaxy S3 that you'd like to show to your friends? Taking a screenshot is a great way to do just that. This wikiHow will teach you how to take a screenshot on a Galaxy S3 using either the default Android feature or by using the motion feature.
Steps

Using Buttons

Press down the Power and Home buttons simultaneously. You will hear a camera shutter sound that indicates your screenshot has been successfully taken and saved to your photo gallery.

Swipe down from the top of your screen to view your screenshot. Once you've taken the screenshot, you'll be able to view it in your gallery. In addition, you'll get a notification that you've taken a screenshot that's in the notification menu at the top of your screen. Tap the notification to view what you've captured.

Using a Gesture

Launch your Settings app. You can swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the gear icon. Alternatively, you can tap the gear app icon on your Home screen.

Tap Motion. It's under the "System" header.

Tap to check the box next to "Palm Swipe to Capture." The checked box means that the feature is active.

Position your hand horizontally on the edge of the screen and swipe across it. You can swipe left to right or right to left because the "Palm Swipe to Capture" will pick up the gesture in either direction. Once you do this swiping gesture, you will hear a camera shutter sound that indicates your screenshot has been successfully taken and saved to your photo gallery. Make sure your entire palm is facing your phone when you do this. If your palm is tilted to the side, your S3 will not be able to pick up the motion and take a screenshot.

What's your reaction?
