How to Screen Mirror Your Phone or Computer to Roku TV
You can project your phone or computer's screen to your Roku TV using Screen Mirroring. For iOS, you can also use AirPlay. You'll just need to connect to the same Wi-Fi network. Here's how to screen mirror Roku TV using an iPhone, iPad, Android, or Windows computer.
Casting Your Device to a Roku TV

Using iPhone or iPad

Connect your Roku and iOS device to the same Wi-Fi network. This is how your Roku and iPhone or iPad will link together.

Open the Control Center. Swipe down on the top-right corner of the screen. If you have a Home button, swipe up from the bottom.

Tap Screen Mirroring. This is the two overlapping rectangles. The full menu should open with a list of devices.

Tap your Roku device. If you don't see your Roku, make sure it's on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network. You may be asked to enter an AirPlay passcode. Enter the code shown on your TV onto your iPhone or iPad.

On your Roku, select Always allow. If you only want content from your device to be mirrored for the current section, select Allow instead. To stop screen mirroring, open the Control Center again. Tap Stop Screen Mirroring.

Using Android

Connect your Roku and Android to the same Wi-Fi network. This is how your devices will link together.

Open the System menu on your Android. Swipe down from the top to do so.

Tap Screen Mirroring. It may also look like Cast or Smart View. You may need to swipe to the next page of apps to find it. If you can't find it, open the Settings and look for Display, Connected Devices, or similar.

Tap your Roku device. This will be listed underneath the available connections.

On your Roku, select Always allow. If you only want content from your device to be mirrored for the current section, select Allow instead. To stop screen mirroring, open the System menu and tap the Screen Mirroring icon again.

Using a Windows Computer

Connect your Roku and PC to the same Wi-Fi network. This is how your devices will link together.

Open the Display menu. Click the Start menu and type "display". Click the first option.

Click Connect to a wireless display. You may need to scroll down to find this. A panel will open on the right.

Click your Roku device. If you don't see it, make sure your drivers are updated.

On your Roku, select Always allow. If you only want content from your device to be mirrored for the current section, select Allow instead.

What's your reaction?
