How to Make Cookie Cutters from Regular Aluminum Foil
Make a cookie cutter using only a sheet of aluminum foil and tape! No need for other items like copper wire or aluminum pie pans. This article is for lazy and somewhat creative people who don't want to leave home and yet still want to make cute gingerbread men.

If you don't have any foil, your neighbor probably will. Tell them it's for a cookie cutter (and those cookies you're going to make with it!) and you'll make a new friend.
Steps

Tear out a sheet of aluminum foil.

Lay the sheet out so that the longest side is horizontal.

Fold up 1/2 inch (1.27cm) to 1 inch (2.5cm) section.

Continue to fold over until you have a long strip of rather sturdy foil. Making it this thick will help it keep its shape.

Fold the strip into whatever shape you desire. A longer sheet of foil will mean more strip to work with. Experiment with creasing the foil in different directions to find out different ways to create shapes.

When you have reached your desired shape, tape the ends together with whatever kind of sticky (adhesive) tape you have laying around. Just make sure it's clean. Try regular transparent sticky tape.

What's your reaction?
