Togepi starts out as a cute baby Pokémon that looks like a little creature inside of an egg, but can evolve into a cool and rather powerful Pokémon called Togekiss. Togekiss was introduced in Generation 4, and is available in every mainline Pokémon game except Scarlet and Violet. But how do you get Togekiss? Thankfully, getting a Togekiss is a pretty simple process and involves obtaining a Shiny Stone. In this article we'll go over how to evolve Togetic and where you can find Togepi and Togetic in every Pokémon game where Togekiss is available.

Things You Should Know

You must use a Shiny Stone to evolve your Togetic into a Togekiss.
There's no level requirement to evolve Togetic, so you can do it right away.
Shiny Stones can be found in various spots around each region, including as hidden items on a route or for sale in stores.

Evolve Togetic

Get a Shiny Stone. Many Pokémon evolve with various elemental evolution stones, but the Shiny Stone is one non-elemental stone you can use to evolve Pokémon, namely Togetic into Togekiss. Shiny Stones can be found around the world at various locations. You can usually find them as hidden items on various routes, and in some games shops will carry them. Obtaining Togepi & Togetic

Togepi is found in almost all of the mainline Pokémon games. The only mainline game that doesn't have Togepi is Scarlet and Violet. However, Togepi's final evolution Togekiss wasn't available until Generation 4 with Diamond and Pearl. You can breed any gender of Togetic or Togekiss with a Ditto to get a Togepi egg, or breed a female Togetic or Togekiss with a male Pokémon from the Flying or Fairy egg groups.
