NationStates is a nation simulation game where you can run your own fictional country just the way you want. As your nation's power grows, you may find that influence over other nations isn't enough. Do you want to lead a group of nations? If so, keep reading to learn how to become the founder of your very own region.
Create a nation, if you haven't already. This nation will be the founder of the new region.
Go to your current region's page and click on "Tired of life in (region name)?".
Click on any button offering to create a new region.
Enter a region name and adjust the settings of the new region. The World Factbook entry is a public description of the region, and the boxes below can be checked or unchecked to determine the regional security.
