This is a great and simple recipe. Although it takes around 3 hours, it is worth the wait for times like a get-together or events at the house. Despite the many opinions stating that boiling dry roasted peanuts does not work, it in fact does work very well based upon results. Take a chance, give it a shot, you won't be sorry.
Assemble all of the ingredients.
Boil together for a minimum of 3 hours.
Check every 45 minutes to ensure that there is enough water. The water will start to boil down and need replacing.
Start to let the water boil away in the third hour. Not so much that the peanuts burn, but enough that the seasoning will stick to the shells to add more flavor and spice.
