Do you want to download clips from Twitch? Maybe you want to post them on another platform or make a meme from your favorite creators. You can download your own clips directly from Twitch, but Twitch doesn't offer a way to download clips from other channels. However, there are plenty of third-party websites you can use to download clips from other creators. This wikiHow article teaches you how to download your own clips as well as clips from other channels on Twitch.
How to Download Twitch Clips

Using Clipr

Log in to Twitch. To do so, go to https://www.twitch.tv/ in a web browser or open the mobile app on your phone. If you are not logged in automatically, click or tap Log In and log in with the username and password associated with your account. You can use Clipr to download clips from any creator on Twitch for free. It's not required that you be logged in to view and share other creator's clips.

Find a creator who's clips you want to download. You can use the search bar at the top of the page or by tapping the magnifying glass icon in the lower-right corner of the mobile app. Search for a creator whose clips you want to download and click their name to view their profile. If you are logged in to Twitch, you can click the creators you follow in the menu bar to the left or at the bottom of your home page on the mobile app.

Open the video you want to download. To do so, click or tap the Video tab and then click or tap the video you want to download to play it.

Click or tap the Share icon Android Share iPhone Share. If you are using a web browser, it's below the video playback window. On Android, it's the icon that resembles three dots connected with lines in the upper-right corner of the playback window. On iPhone and iPad, it's the icon that resembles a box with an arrow pointing up in the upper-right corner of the playback window.

Copy the URL. To do so in a desktop browser, highlight and copy the URL in the "Video link" box. On Android, tap Copy link in the drop-down menu. On iPhone and iPad, tap Share to and then tap Copy in the share menu.

Go to https://clipr.xyz/ in a web browser. You can use any web browser on PC, Mac, or a mobile device. If you are already viewing Twitch in a web browser, you can open another browser tab.

Paste the link in the text box and click or tap Download now. It's the text box that has the sample link in the center of the screen. Right-click the text box, or tap and hold, and then click or tap Paste. Then click or tap Download now next to the box.

Click or tap Download video. It's the purple button next to the video playback. This downloads the video to your Downloads folder by default. Additionally, you can use the drop-down menu labeled "Video quality" to select the video resolution you want to download. You can also use the boxes labeled "Start time" and "End time" to select when you want the video to start and end and download a portion of the clip.

Using Untwitch

Log in to Twitch. To do so, go to https://www.twitch.tv/ in a web browser or open the mobile app on your phone. If you are not logged in automatically, click or tap Log In and log in with the username and password associated with your account. Untwitch is another website you can use to download clips from any creator on Twitch for free. It's not required that you be logged in to view and share other creator's clips.

Paste the link in the text box and click or tap Submit. Right-click or tap and hold the text bar that says "paste Twitch Video URL & submit" and click or tap Paste. Then click or tap Submit next to the box.

Click Download Video. It's the red button below the drop-down menu. This downloads the video to your Downloads folder by default. Additionally, you can use the drop-down menu below "Available video formats" to select the video format and resolution. You can also use the turquoise slider bar at the bottom to select the starting point and end point if you don't want to download the entire video.

Downloading Your Clips on Mobile

Open the Twitch app. It has a purple icon with an image that resembles a speech bubble with eyes. Tap the Twitch icon on your Home screen or Apps menu to open the Twitch app. If you are a Twitch content creator, you can download your own clips directly using the Twitch app. If you are not logged in automatically, tap Log in and log in with the username and password associated with your Twitch account.

Tap Create. It's in the upper-right corner. This opens the creator dashboard. If you don't see the Create button, make sure your Twitch app has been updated to the latest version.

Tap Content. It's at the bottom of the screen.

Tap a clip you want to download. This will start playing the clip.

Tap Android 7 Download. It's at the bottom of the screen. This downloads the clip to your device. You can find the clip in your Gallery on Android, or in your Photos app on iPhone and iPad.

Downloading Your Clips on Computer

Log in to Twitch. To do so, go to https://www.twitch.tv/ in a web browser. If you are not logged in automatically, click Log In in the upper-right corner and log in with the username and password associated with your account. If you are a Twitch content creator, you can download your own clips directly from Twitch.

Click your profile picture. It's in the upper-right corner of the web page. This displays a drop-down menu.

Click Video Producer. It's the second option in the drop-down menu.

Click Clips. It's in the menu bar to the left. This displays a list of all your video clips. If you don't see the menu to the left, click the icon with three lines (☰) in the upper-left corner to display the menu.

Click Android 7 Download. It's the icon that resembles an arrow pointing down over a line. It's to the right next to every video. This downloads the video to your Downloads folder by default.
