While there's no native Crunchyroll app on Samsung Smart TVs, you can get anime on the big screen by connecting another streaming stick, projecting your smartphone or tablet, or using a gaming console. Here's how to get Crunchyroll on a Samsung TV.

Things You Should Know

To get Crunchyroll on a Samsung TV, use Chromecast or AirPlay to cast it from another device.
You can also use an Amazon Fire TV Stick, Roku, or gaming console (Xbox, PS4, PS5, Switch) to download the app.
Crunchyroll isn't currently supported on Samsung Smart TVs, but this may change.

Using Chromecast

Set up your Chromecast with your TV. Make sure it's connected properly, and the power adapter is plugged in.

Connect your casting device to the same Wi-Fi network. This is how you'll cast video from your Chromecast-enabled device to the Chromecast on your TV.

Open the Crunchyroll app. If you're using a computer, open the Crunchyroll website on Google Chrome.

Tap the "Cast" button. This looks like a rectangle with the Wi-Fi symbol in the bottom-left corner. If you don't see it, start playing a show or movie first. If you're using an Android device, go to your lock screen. Tap the output switcher icon at the top-right of the media controls. This looks like a tablet. If you're using a computer, click ⋮ → Save and share → Cast…

Select the Cast device. Your Samsung TV should be listed under the devices list. Crunchyroll will begin playing immediately. If you don't see your TV, make sure it's connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Using Apple AirPlay

Connect your AirPlay device and TV on the same network. You can use Apple devices, such as Apple TV, iPhone, iPad, or Mac, to stream your screen onto an AirPlay-compatible Smart TV.

Open a video in the Crunchyroll app. Make sure the app is updated to the latest version.

Tap the AirPlay button. This looks like a rectangle with a triangle at the bottom.

Select your TV. It should appear in the list underneath Speakers & TVs. Your Apple device's screen will be mirrored on your TV. Use your device to control the app. If you don't see your TV, make sure it's on the same Wi-Fi network and you have Bluetooth enabled.

Using a Streaming TV Stick

Download the Crunchyroll app. Use the device's app store to find and download the app.

Launch the Crunchyroll app. Log in with your account to begin watching.
