World Cup 2014: Neymar taken to hospital after getting injured during Colombia match
Neymar suffered a foul from Juan Zuniga late in the second half and was immediately stretched off and rushed to the hospital.

Host nation Brazil will be sweating while they wait for a fitness update on their star striker Neymar. Brazil's national star went down injured against Colombia in Brazil 2-1 win and was stretched off the pitch immediately. After suffering a foul from Juan Zuniga late in the second half and was unable to leave the match under his own power and was replaced by Henrique.

It wasn't entirely clear what Neymar injured, though the challenge from Zuniga did feature a nasty knee to Neymar's back, and the physio staff was careful about getting him onto the stretcher, so a back injury looks like the most likely problem at present. According to reports in Brazil the striker was immediately rushed to hospital where he will undergo tests.

If Neymar isn't available for the semifinal game against Germany, it'll be a huge blow for Brazil.

They have plenty of attacking talent, but Neymar is the centerpiece of the team. Both Willian and Bernard are capable of playing his role, though there's clearly a drop-off.

Neymar has four goals in the World Cup and is Brazil's leading scorer. He has been playing with a knee and thigh injury after a rough match in the Round of 16 against Chile.
