Kimberley: Uruguay will add more power to its attack and start with three forwards in the team's next World Cup match against South Africa on Wednesday.

Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez selected Edinson Cavani to join Diego Forlan and Luis Suarez for the game in Pretoria, after a drab 0-0 draw against France on the opening day of the tournament.

Cavani will take midfielder Ignacio Gonzalez's place. Forlan will probably play behind Cavani and Suarez. Forlan complained after the draw that the team had difficulty in getting the ball to the forwards.

Tabarez also announced Monday that Mauricio Victorino would be replaced in defense by Jorge Fucile. Midfielder Nicolas Lodeiro will miss Wednesday's match because of suspension.
