Munich: Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has conceded that he is pondering his future at the club in the midst of growing criticism of his performances.

The Dutchman has had a torrid time of late at the Bavarians, but showcased his best form with two goals in Netherlands' 3-2 friendly win over England at Wembley in midweek.

Robben's contract at the Allianz Arena expires in 2013, but despite his club's desire to renew his deal, the 28-year-old admitted that he is considering his options.

"In Germany, the situation is not ideal at the moment," he told Bild, "Of course I will consider what opportunities may arise."

Robben had previously hit out at Jupp Heynckes, and has now stated that the opportunity to work with Bert van Marwijk, his international coach, was a reprieve.

"It was wonderful to work with a trainer who gives his players confidence and lets them work in peace. "I don't know if they've seen our game in Munich, but I'm taking a DVD with me."

Heynckes, however, was full of praise for the former Real Madrid man and his strikes in Wembley, and has backed the Dutchman to bring that form back to his club.

"They were excellent goals. It's only a matter of time before he explodes."

Bayern face a potentially difficult trip to Bayer Leverkusen on Saturday.
