Buenos Aires: Peru's Copa America preparations continued to be plagued by injuries after a rough ride in a 1-0 home win over Senegal in their final warm-up.
Hamburg SV striker Paolo Guerrero scored the winner in the 89th minute of Tuesday night's match in Lima but was the victim in added time of a nasty foul by Stephane Badji, who earned Senegal's second red card.
Senegal also had Moustapha Kasse dismissed in the 65th minute as the Peruvian players complained of the hard challenges by the African side.
Guerrero, however, is in Peru's 23-man squad for the July 1-24 tournament in Argentina issued on Wednesday, whereas midfielder Luis Ramirez and defender Carlos Zambrano, both injured against Senegal, were left out.
Peru had already lost two other German-based players to injury, winger Jefferson Farfan and striker Claudio Pizarro, while midfielder Juan Vargas of Fiorentina may only be fit in time for Peru's second Group C match against Mexico on July 8.
Coach Sergio Markarian's team meet group seeds Uruguay in their opening match in San Juan on Monday. They also face Chile in Mendoza on July 12.
Colombia have sent for Millonarios goalkeeper Nelson Ramos after first-choice David Ospina of French club Nice was ruled out of the tournament with a broken nose after a training ground accident in Santa Fe on Tuesday.
Luis Martinez is expected to keep goal for Colombia in their opening Group A match against Costa Rica in the northwestern city of Jujuy on Saturday. Colombia also face hosts Argentina and Bolivia in Santa Fe.
