An audacious swap deal between Chelsea and Italian giants AC Milan could see Fernando Torres and Stephan El Shaarawy swapping places as the Chelsea boss is looking for a star striker in his second stint with the club, despite Torres' recent revival.
Mourinho's main target for the upcoming season has been the Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, but the Blues are yet to meet the Uruguayan's asking price quoted by the Italian club.
Milan, though, are reluctant to let Shaarawy go and could ask for Torres to move to San Siro should Chelsea press on. Shaarawy scored 19 goals in all competitions last season and features regularly for the senior Italy team. However, Torres hasn't done bad at all of late, scoring 22 goals in the last EPL season and ending the Confederations Cup as the tournament's top scorer.
