Arsenal are set to be fined following their victory over Premier League rivals Liverpool.
As per a report, The Gunners will be slapped with a fine for the excessive number of yellow cards they picked up during their 3-1 win over Liverpool.
A total of one red and seven yellow cards were handed out by the match official Anthony Taylor on February 4 at the Emirates Stadium. Six of those yellow cards were for Arsenal players and the club will now likely be fined around £25,000 for the indiscipline.

During the memorable clash, three of Arsenal’s four starting defenders found themselves in Anthony Taylor’s bookings for various offences. These included the likes of Ben White, William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes.
Jakub Kiwior, who replaced full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko, received a yellow card in the second half. Forwards including Declan Rice and Kai Havertz were also under the referee’s bookings.
Among Liverpool players, Darwin Nunez received a yellow while Ibrahima Konate was dismissed in the 88th minute after receiving his second booking of the night.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp said there were certain inconsistencies with referee Taylor’s decisions.
“This referee gave me a red card against Man City for the wrestling situation between Bernardo Silva and Mo Salah. Today, same situation with [Diogo] Jota but didn’t get a red card,” Klopp said after the match.
In the ongoing season, both Chelsea and Liverpool have already been fined when six of their players were booked during a game.
The Blues received the penalty in a heated encounter with the Wolves on Christmas Eve. On the other hand, The Reds had eight of their players booked during a fixture with Tottenham Hotspur in October last year.
The Spurs barely escaped the fine with five bookings.
On the match day, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta also escaped punishment despite breaching the Technical Area Code of Conduct.
As per the code, all coaches are expected to remain in their technical area until the match is over. The law was drawn up to control over exuberant celebrations during the games.
However, Arteta hurled out of his side after Leandro Trossard sealed the victory for Arsenal but wasn’t booked for the offence by Taylor.
Arteta’s men will next be seen in action this weekend in the Premier League when they take on West Ham.
