Ever since the Venom franchise premiered, back in 2018, fans have been waiting for Eddie Brock to cross paths with Spider-Man. The anti-hero, who is shown as the Spider-villain in the comic books, has not met the Marvel superhero yet on screen. Fans have been hoping that Venom 3 aka Venom: The Last Dance, serves as a platform for their crossover, especially since the post-credit scene of Spider-Man: No Way Home was inclined towards the possible meet.
Although Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor couldn’t address the rumours of the crossover, they did mention that if ever there is a crossover between the two characters, they would want Tom Hardy’s Ed to meet Tom Holland’s Spidey. “I think the Tom and Tom, the two Toms. Come on, they would be great together. I would love to see that. That would be great, I would love it. I think they are already sizing each other up," she said. Chiwetel shared the same sentiment.

Meanwhile, even Tom Hardy addressed the crossover rumours during a fan event in Mexico. According to Collider, Tom played it coy. The actor, who is also the co-producer of Venom 3, said, “Will we ever meet Spider-Man? You know, see, there are always possibilities. But, I cannot possibly say anything because this is the last movie. I would love that."
Fans are hoping that the crossover happens in the film. After all, this is the last Venom film in the franchise. Yes, Tom Hardy has confirmed that this will be his last dance with Venom.
