Rakhi Sawant REVEALS If She Is Back With Ex-Husband Ritesh Amid Adil Durrani's Legal Row | Exclusive
Rakhi Sawant was recently snapped by the paparazzi in Mumbai with her former husband, Ritesh. Soon after the video of the two went viral on social media, netizens were left wondering if the Bigg Boss 15 fame are back together once again amid Rakhi’s legal battle with Adil Khan Durrani.
However, when News18 Showsha reached out to Rakhi asking if she has reunited with Ritesh, she dismissed all such claims and called them “rubbish”.
A Look Back At Rakhi Sawant and Ritesh’s Relationship
In October 2021, Rakhi Sawant left everyone shocked when she entered the Bigg Boss 15 house and introduced all to her husband, Ritesh. However, the two parted ways soon after the show’s grand finale i.e. in February 2022.
Announcing their separation, Rakhi said, “Dear fans and well wishers, just wanted to say that Ritesh and I have decided to part ways. After the Bigg Boss show a lot happened and I was unaware of certain things which were out of my control. We have tried to work out our differences and tried to make things work but I think it’s best we both move on amicably and we both enjoy our lives separately.”
“I’m really sad and heartbroken that this had to happen before Valentine’s Day but the decision had to be made. I wish Ritesh the best in life but for me at this stage in life, I have to focus on my work and myself happy and healthy. Thank you for understanding and supporting me always!” she added.
What Is Rakhi Sawant’s Legal Battle With Adil Khan Durrani?
After her separation from Ritesh, Rakhi married Adil Khan Durrani. However, in 2023, they parted ways after the Bigg Boss fame levelled several allegations against Adil and accused him of being involved in extramarital affairs. Adil was also picked up from Rakhi’s residence and arrested on February 7, 2023. He was released after spending five months in jail.
Recently, Adil also took to his Instagram stories and dropped a video in which he claimed that the Supreme Court rejected Rakhi’s anticipatory bail plea and asked her to surrender before the Mumbai police in four weeks. “Iska matlab simple form mien bata du ki apko jail jana padega uske baad bail milegi (In simple words, she has to go to jail first, only then she will get the bail),” he said. Adil further claimed that the actress would be arrested soon.
Adil is now married to Somi Khan, who also participated in Bigg Boss 12.
