Bigg Boss OTT 3 concluded on Friday night with Sana Makbul emerging as the winner. Kritika Malik, who had entered the show with her husband Armaan Malik and his first wife Payal, was also one of the finalists of the controversial reality show. Following the finale, Kritika exclusively spoke to News18 Showsha when she questioned those who called her an “undeserving" finalist and argued that escaping nominations was her “strategy".
“You had the right to nominate me in the Bigg Boss house. You can nominate the non-deserving contestant. This happens twice a week. If I wasn’t deserving, you should have nominated me. You did not nominate me and I reached the finale. This was my strategy and you were caught in it," Kritika told us.
During their Bigg Boss stint, Kritika, Armaan and Payal were often targeted and accused of promoting polygamy. However, Kritika has now urged everyone not to marry twice. She called her marriage to Armaan a “mistake" and expressed that no one should do this.
“Several questions were raised. You guys are also right. This is not something one expects. I am ready for the questions. But I have always said that I do not support polygamy. We made a mistake by marrying twice, so please don’t do this. Nobody should marry twice. We do not support polygamy," she said.
Kritika also opened up about Payal Malik’s statement about divorcing Armaan and shared, “In this house, you cannot contact anyone from your family. In this situation, somebody tells you something shocking. Like, you guys mentioned about Payal’s decision (to divorce Armaan). It hurt me. I broke down emotionally. I was worried if everything was okay outside or not. I was broken because of this."
She also revealed her first conversation with Payal after coming out of the Bigg Boss house and said, “When I came outside, I asked Payal if she was okay. She said, ‘yes’. Nothing else matters. If she is fine, I am also fine."
Bigg Boss OTT 3 grand finale was held on Friday, August 2. While Sana Makbul took the trophy home, Naezy was the first runner-up. Other three finalists on the show were – Ranvir Shorey, Sai Ketan Rao and Kritika Malik.
