It makes things easier for the administration, they think they are safe, let that one person suffer, and even society feels that they have got the accused.” Here we are talking about the journey of Divyakirti as a UPSC aspirant.
According to the information given on the website of Vikas Divyakirti’s coaching, Drishti IAS, he passed the UPSC exam on his first attempt. He started his professional career as an assistant professor at Delhi University. In 1996, he passed the Civil Services Exam on his first attempt and worked for one year in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. It has been told on the website that after this, Divyakirti resigned from his post and again entered the field of teaching and founded the Drishti IAS coaching institute.
Vikas Divyakirti has done PhD in Hindi literature from Delhi University. He has also studied various other subjects like sociology, philosophy, law and management. According to the reports, Divyakirti was born in Bhiwani, Haryana and received his primary education from Saraswati Shishu Mandir. After this, he took admission to a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Zakir Husain Delhi College, but later he pursued a Bachelor of Arts from Delhi University. He did his postgraduation in Hindi literature.
According to the reports, he appeared for the UPSC Civil Services exam for the first time in 1996 and secured an All India Rank (AIR) of 384. After taking training from the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management, he was appointed to the Central Secretariat Services of the Government of India. He was then posted as a section officer in the Department of Official Language of the Home Ministry. After one year, he resigned and started teaching at a Delhi college. In the year 1999, he established the Drishti IAS Coaching Center in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi.
