Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has released the results of the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2024. Candidates who took the exam can now check their results on the official website at viteee.vit.ac.in. The VITEEE 2024 examination took place from April 19 to 30.
As per the marking scheme, for each correct answer, candidates will get one mark, with no negative marking for incorrect answers. The scorecard of VITEEE 2024 will contain the candidate’s personal details, maximum score, marks scored in each subject, overall score, rank, and other details.
VITEEE Result 2024: How to Check?
Step 1: Visit the official website of VIT at viteee.vit.ac.in.
Step 2: On the home page, open the link to view VITEEE result 2024.
Step 3: Log in with the application number, password, and the displayed verification code.
Step 4: Click on submit.
Step 5: The result will open on the screen. View your VITEEE 2024 result.
Step 6: Download a copy of the result for future reference.
VITEEE 2024 was conducted online in a computer-based mode, for a total of 125 marks. The exam paper includes 125 questions and is divided into five sections, covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, and Aptitude. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 30 minutes. VIT had earlier extended the application deadline for the exam till April 10. Previously, the deadline was set for March 31. Candidates were required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,350.
VITEEE Result 2024 Declared: What’s Next?
Students who have cleared the VITEEE 2024 will be getting admission to BTech courses through the counselling process. The authorities will conduct the counselling in two phases- Phase I and II. Candidates will have to complete the choice locking and document verification process. The final VITEEE seat allotment will be done on the basis of the merit list, choice locking, and availability of seats. VITEEE counselling schedule is expected to be released by the university authorities soon.
