The Joint Entrance Examination Council or JEECUP has extended the Uttar Pradesh JEE (UPJEE) 2024 registration deadline up till May 10. This means the exam which was scheduled to take place from March 16 to March 22 stands postponed. Candidates willing to appear for the UP Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE) Polytechnic can visit the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in to check the notification and apply for the exam.
“The last date of online application form filling has been extended till 10/05/2024. So all willing candidates must fill their application form in time. This is the last opportunity to fill the application form,” reads the official notice. According to the earlier schedule, the UPJEE 2024 answer key was slated to be published on March 27, 2024, and the results on April 8, 2024. However, it has now been deferred.
JEECUP 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: The exam is held for the candidates seeking admission in the government and private polytechnic colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates who have passed class 10 and class 12 from a recognised board are eligible to apply. Candidates must also have completed graduation in the relevant field depending on the course one wants to apply for.
Age limit: There’s no age limit for application.
UPJEE 2024: How To Apply?
Candidates can follow the step-by-step process mentioned below to apply for UPJEE 2024:
Step 1: Candidates are required to go to the official website of JEECUP at jeecup.admissions.nic.in.
Step 2: Look for and click on the application link on the website’s home page.
Step 3: Upon clicking, a new page will open, where candidates need to enter their login details.
Step 4: Fill out the form, pay the application fees, and submit the required documents. During registration, students must upload a scanned coloured photograph with their name and date along with an image of their signature.
Step 5: Cross-check all the details and submit it.
Step 6: Print a hard copy of the acknowledgment form for future reference.
JEECUP 2024: Application Fee
For candidates belonging to the unreserved and OBC categories, the registration fee is Rs 300. For candidates from the SC and ST categories, they will need to pay a registration fee of Rs 200.
