UCO Bank has announced the commencement of the application for the apprentice posts. The notification issued by the bank invites applications to fill 544 vacant positions. Candidates interested and eligible for the post can easily apply online by visiting the official website, nats.education.gov.in. According to the notice, candidates can apply for engagement in one state. The application process has started today, June 6, and the last date to apply for the apprentice posts is June 16. UCO Bank Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Apprentice post, candidates should have a graduate degree from a recognised university or institute, approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies. The result of the qualification must have been declared on or before 01.07.2024. The candidate must produce mark sheets and a provisional or degree certificate issued by the University/ Institute/ College as and when required by the bank. The candidates should not be born earlier than 02.07.1996 and not later than 01.07.2004 (both dates inclusive). The result of the qualification will be declared by the bank on July 1.
UCO Bank Recruitment 2024: Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for the apprentice posts through a process of screening and a personal interview. The official UCO website will inform candidates if the post requires a written test. To qualify for the posts, candidates are required to score a minimum score in an interview or written test that will be decided by the bank. A 5 per cent relaxation will be given to candidates of the SC/ST/OBC/PwBD categories.
UCO Bank Recruitment 2024: Stipend
According to the notice, a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000, including any subsidy amount by the Government of India, will be given to the candidate for the apprenticeship programme. The stipend will include Rs 10,500 in the apprentice account, and the government share of Rs 4,500 will be directly credited to the apprentices' bank accounts through DBT mode.
