The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) will commence the online registration process for the TS Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) 2024 on March 7. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the same at the official website — icet.tsche.ac.in. The last date to apply is April 30. However, candidates can register by May 17 with a late fee of Rs 250 and by May 27 with a late fee of Rs 500.
The TSICET 2024 is scheduled to be conducted on June 4 and 5. The test is organised by Kakatiya University, Warangal, on behalf of TSCHE to offer admission to MBA and MCA courses of all the participating institutes across the state.
TS ICET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
Age limit: Candidates must be at least 19 years as of the date of notification. There is no maximum age limit.
Educational Qualification:
MBA: Must have passed a bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent marks in case of reserved categories of SC, ST, and BC).
MCA: Must have passed BCA or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or its equivalent degree or BSc or BCom or BA examination of minimum three years duration with at least 50 per cent marks (45 per cent marks in case of reserved categories of SC, ST, and BC) along with mathematics at class 12 or graduation level.
The qualifying degree obtained by the distance mode must have recognition by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations of 2013.
TS ICET 2024: How to apply
Step 1. Visit the official website of TSICET at icet.tsche.ac.in
Step 2. Once you open the homepage of the website, click on the registration link
Step 3. Register yourself
Step 4. Fill in the required fields
Step 5. Pay the application fee
Step 6. Upload the required documents in the specified format and submit them
Step 7. Download and save. Take a printout of the acknowledgment page for further use.
TS ICET 2024: Application fees
The application fee for TSICET 2024 is Rs 750 for unreserved candidates and Rs 550 for SC, ST and differently-abled candidates.
The exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode for a 150-minute duration. There are 200 questions from three sections- Analytical Ability consisting of 75 marks, Mathematical Ability of 75 marks, and Communication Ability of 50 marks. Out of the total 200 marks that the exam carries, students are required have to secure at least 25 per cent marks to qualify for the exam.
TS ICET is held every year for admission into MBA and MCA courses of all the Universities in Telangana State and their affiliated colleges for the academic year 2023-24. This test is being conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of TSCHE Hyderabad. Kakatiya University has conducted TS ICET from 2005 to 2022.
