The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling process 2024 is moving forward gradually and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Tamil Nadu has now released the 10-digit TNEA Random Number 2024 today, June 12. Candidates can access and download the Random Number List from the official website attneaonline.org.
Candidates must log in with their registration number and date of birth to view the TNEA Random Number List 2024. Also, the random numbers have been assigned to help resolve ties in the TNEA rank card 2024.
“TNEA 2024 Registration is closed. Random numbers were generated and are available for viewing by students who have made the payment. Please click the status tab to view your random number,” a notice on the website reads. According to the TNEA counselling schedule, the TNEA rank card for 2024 will be released on July 10.
The certificate verification process will begin after the TNEA 2024 Random Number List has been released. This process will take place online from June 13 to June 30, 2024, in accordance with the counselling timetable. Candidates should ensure that all of their documents are ready and submitted on time to minimise delays in the verification process.
TNEA Random Number List 2024: Check The Tie-Breaking Criteria
– Candidates with higher Mathematics scores will be granted higher rankings.
– If the tie remains, better Physics scores will be used to determine the rank.
– If the tie persists, higher scores in the fourth optional subject will be utilised to rank.
– If the tie still holds, the older applicant will be assigned a higher rank.
The TNEA 2024 counselling is held for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions at various participating institutes across the state. Candidates are shortlisted for the TNEA 2024 counselling based on their TNEA rank in 2024.
The TNEA counselling process involves stages like – online registration, random number assignment, certificate verification, rank list publication, and final counselling. The counselling rounds will include processes such as choice filling, confirmation of allotment, allotment, reporting to the college/TFC, and payment of fees based on confirmation.
