The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will close the online registration process of the Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) 2024 today, March 8. Candidates can register for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) courses by visiting the official website at mahacet.org. It is important to note that the syllabus for this MHT CET 2024 exam is based on textbooks from classes 11 and 12.

According to the schedule, the engineering exam will be conducted from April 25 to April 30, while the pharmacy exam will take place from April 16 to April 23. The admit cards for the MHT CET 2024 exam will be released by April first week. The results for the same will be declared by May last week and subsequently, the counselling process and further admission round will be conducted between June to August, this year.

Candidates will have an additional 15 minutes to read the instructions on the question paper. The exam will require participants to report to the exam centre at 8:45 am (morning shift) and 1:45 pm (afternoon shift).

MHT CET 2024: How to Apply?

Step 1: Visit the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org.

Step 2: Look for the MHT CET 2024 section and click on it.

Step 3: Register yourself on the portal, and fill out the application form.

Step 4: Go through the form once and rectify any mistakes if made.

Step 5: To complete the process, upload the mandatory documents and pay the application fee.

Step 6: Finally, submit the form as directed.

MHT CET 2024: Application Fee

Students who apply for the MHT CET 2024 must pay an application fee of Rs 1,000. Candidates from Maharashtra’s SC, ST, VJ/DTNT(A), NT(B), NT(C), NT(D), OBC, SBC, and EWS communities, as well as those with disabilities, need to pay Rs 800 in application fees.

MHT CET 2024: Exam Pattern

According to the exam pattern, 20 per cent of the questions will be from the Class 11 curriculum, while 80 per cent will be from the Class 12 syllabus. MHT CET 2024 will consist of two 100-mark papers. Maths will be the first paper for PCM candidates. In contrast, candidates with PCB will have Biology as their first paper. In addition, Physics and Chemistry are covered in the second paper, which is shared by PCB and PCM. Also, every candidate will be given three hours to complete their papers.
