Katihar Agniveer Recruitment Rally 2024: Physical Test Begins; Know Guidelines
The Indian Army has now issued detailed guidelines for the candidates who are going to participate in the Agniveer Recruitment Rally.

The Katihar Agniveer Rally Recruitment application process started in January 2023, while the written examination was conducted in April last year. Now, the Army Recruitment Office ( ARO) Katihar in Bihar is also organising a rally at Garhwal Ground of Army Camp which started yesterday, January 8. It will continue till January 18. Katihar ARO covers 12 districts of Bihar. The Indian Army has now issued detailed guidelines for the candidates who are going to participate in the Agniveer Recruitment Rally. The applicants who pass the physical test will be qualified for the medical examination. The same process is followed in every state for Agniveer recruitment. Let’s take a quick look at some of the don’ts of the physical examination process:

  1. The candidate must not attend the recruitment rally with wrong or fake documents.
  2. If the candidate has recently recovered from any major illness/injury or has undergone any major operation and the wound has not yet healed, then they should not come to the rally. It can be harmful for them.
  3. It is advised that the candidates should not contact anyone other than the recruitment office staff for clarification regarding recruitment. The candidate must avoid getting misled by any stranger/middleman during the rally.
  4. The Army recruitment is claimed to be absolutely free and transparent, as per the government rules. It is advised to not take mobile phones or any expensive personal item to the rally venue.

Important Documents

The applicants attending the recruitment rally must carry their Aadhar card with them. It is compulsory for biometric authentication at the rally site. Other important documents include Class 10 marksheet, address proof and character certificate. The candidate should also be unmarried. The caste certificate should also be carried by the candidate. If the religion certificate is mentioned, then it should also be submitted by the candidate. Apart from this, a character certificate is also necessary along with a passport photo. The applicant should also carry the admit card with them. It is also advised for the applicants to not delay in the medical review at the nominated military hospital.

Agniveer recruitment is taking place throughout India. The recruitment rallies are being organised in various districts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh. The application process of these recruitment rallies began in the starting of 2023. It released the vacancy for the posts of clerk, technical, general duty and tradesmen positions. As per reports, more than 14,000 candidates have registered from these districts. In this rally, the physical test of the candidates will be conducted along with the document verification.
