There is no age for learning and education, and there are no limits to dreams. This is what a man from Jharkhand proved to the world when he decided to continue his education at a middle age. When the Chartered Accountant exam results were announced, Pradeep Hisaria from Jhumri Telaiya amazed the world. At 49, the man has finally fulfilled his dream of being a CA. Pradeep Hisaria told Local 18 that after passing 12th grade in 1993, he started preparing for the Chartered Accountant exam. Due to financial difficulties, he had to abandon his preparation halfway through. In 2016, he resumed his preparation, but after the implementation of GST, he had to stop again due to work pressures.
In 2021, while taking his son to Rajasthan by train for CA preparation, he noticed his son’s books during the day-long journey. It rekindled his desire to prepare for the CA exam once again. Determined to fulfil his incomplete dream, he started his CA preparation.
Working as an Income Tax and GST advocate, Pradeep spends his days in the office from 10 am to 7 pm. To focus on his CA preparation, he limited his social life. He studied from 5 am to 9 am before going to the office and then from 7:30 pm to 10:30 pm after returning. He shared that good time management and self-study were key to his success. His son is in the final year of CA, and his daughter is preparing for civil services.
He further shared that he fulfilled his dream 30 years after completing his 12th grade. He believes that turning your goal into a priority is the key to success. His achievement is an inspiration to all those who have left their dreams unfulfilled for some reason. He showed with hard work and determination, success is achievable at any age. He said that any task can be challenging, but not impossible. His life and success are an inspiration to society.
