The Staff Selection Commission released a recruitment notification for the SSC CGL, i.e., Staff Selection Commission – Combined Graduate Level. Recruitment has been announced for graduate students of all categories. The process of online application for the exam has also started. For its online application, you can easily fill out this form yourself from your mobile phone or laptop at home at the official website issued by the government.
Cafe operator Yatharth Anant said that it takes at least 20 minutes to fill out this form in Godda. Due to this students have to wait for hours due to crowds in the cafes. But students can also fill out the form at their homes. While talking to Local18, Anant mentioned that students can fill out their form on their own. They do not have to wait in queue for long.
Yatharth said that the students can easily fill out the form through their phones or laptops. He also shared the full procedure to fill out the SSC CGL application form. In the end, he mentioned that students can pay the application fee through a debit card, UPI or Internet banking.
The last date to apply for these posts is July 24, and the last date to pay the application fee is July 25. The correction window will remain open on August 10 and 11. The examination is likely to be held in September or October 2024.
The minimum age of the candidate to fill out this form can be 18 years, and the maximum age can be 32 years. The age will be evaluated as of August 1, 2024. At the same time, the fee for filling out this form is Rs 100 for the general and OBC categories, while no fee is being charged for SC, ST, women, physically handicapped or ex-servicemen candidates.
A total of 17727 vacancies have been published by the commission on the official website. The selection of the students will be based on their aggregate performance in Tier 1 and Tier 2. The exam is held every year to shortlist eligible candidates for various Group B and C posts in various positions, which include Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Inspector (Examiner), Sub Inspector, Junior Statistical Officer, Inspector, Assistant Superintendent, and Statistical Investigator Grade-II.
