The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya (IIM Bodh Gaya) has recruited all its students from the Master of Business Administration (MBA) batch of 2024. It was a tough year for job hunting, but the institute did well with all 266 students getting placed. Many companies, more than 120, came to hire students from different fields. The pay this year was slightly lower, about 7% less than last year. Students who did well still got good pay. The top 25%, 50%, and 75% of the class got average salaries of 18.2 LPA, 16.6 LPA, and 15.2 LPA respectively. At IIM Bodh Gaya, many students got jobs in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector. Big companies like Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank hired them.
Other famous companies like Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, and PwC also hired students. Consulting, IT, and analytics firms were also interested. Energy, manufacturing, FMCG, and e-commerce companies were part of the placement season too.
IIM Bodh Gaya has hit a milestone with 100% placements. Along with final placements, the institute also offered summer internships to regular MBA students (9th batch) and the first batches of MBA in Digital Business Management (DBM) and MBA in Hospital & Healthcare Management (HHM). All of them got placed too.
The DBM batch scored an average stipend of over Rs 1 lakh, with the highest going up to Rs 2.6 lakh. Big companies like BNY Mellon, Kotak Mutual Fund, and Pay-Sprint recruited students for these special programs.
Thirty two students received a stipend of Rs 1.5 lakh. Master of Business Administration – Hospital and Healthcare Management (MBA-HHM) students also got internships in reputed healthcare institutions like Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Hospital, and Manipal Hospitals, where the highest stipend was Rs 2 lakh. In the MBA (9th batch), over 75 companies participated, offering an average stipend of Rs 75,000, with some students earning as high as Rs 2 lakh.
Among them, 32 students received more than Rs 1.5 lakh. Companies like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, NSE, and Yamaha Motors offered internships to this batch.
