GATE 2024: Candidates will be able to check and download their response sheets from the official website of GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bengaluru has released the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 response sheet. The GATE 2024 examination was held for the registered candidates from February 3, 4, 10 and 11. The result will be announced on March 16.

Candidates who have appeared in the GATE 2024 will be able to check and download their response sheets from the official website of GATE at gate2024.iisc.ac.in. To check and download the GATE 2024 response sheets, the candidates will need to have their GATE login credentials such as the enrolment number, email ID, and password.

The GATE 2024 response sheets include the answers provided by the candidates during their examination. By comparing the responses with the official GATE 2024 answer key with the response sheet, candidates can estimate their potential scores in the entrance exam.

GATE 2024 Response Sheet: How to check

Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE 2024 at gate2024.iisc.ac.in.

Step 2: Log in to the candidates’ portal using the required credentials including enrolment ID, email ID, and password.

Step 3: Click on the ‘View Response’ tab on the page.

Step 4: GATE 2024 Response Sheet will appear on the screen.

Step 5: Review and download the response sheet.

Step 6: Keep a hard copy of the GATE 2024 Response Sheet for future reference.

The paper was held in Computer Based Test (CBT) format in English language. The question paper consisted of two sections General Aptitude and Candidate’s selected subject. The entrance test offered as many as 30 subjects for the candidates to choose from.

GATE 2024: Marking Scheme

According to the official notification for GATE 2024, each question in the set carries one mark or 2 marks. For the one-mark MCQ, 1/3 marks will be deducted on every wrong answer while for the 2-mark question, 2/3 marks will be deducted.

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is an entrance examination conducted on a national level that primarily tests the comprehensive subjects in engineering and sciences to enrol in postgraduate programs.

This year, the GATE 2024 is being jointly conducted by IISc Bengaluru, and seven IITs including IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, and IIT Roorkee.
