CTET 2024 to Be Conducted Today, Check Exam Day Guidelines to Follow
Candidates can download their CTET 2024 admit card from the official website at ctet.nic.in. The test will be conducted offline in a pen-and-paper format

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will administer the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 today, January 21. Candidates who have successfully registered for the CTET 2024 exam can download the admit card via the official website at ctet.nic.in. To access the hall ticket, candidates will have to enter their application number and date of birth (DoB) on the login window. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test will be held in two shifts – 9:30 am to 12 pm and 2:30 pm to 5 pm. It will be conducted offline in a pen-and-paper format in 135 cities across the country.

The CTET 2024 exam will comprise multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total of four options. Candidates will have to select only one from the options given. Every question will carry one mark, and it is important to note that there will be no negative marking. Those who are seeking to teach Classes 1 to 5 will have to appear for Paper I of the CTET 2024 exam. While those wanting to teach Classes 6 to 8 must take Paper II.

The CTET is a teacher eligibility test designed to determine candidates’ eligibility and ability to teach students in a variety of government and private-aided schools. Furthermore, CTET is a national-level exam administered by the Central Board of Secondary Education.

CTET 2024: Exam Day Guidelines

–– Candidates are requested to be at the examination venue 120 minutes before the exam’s start time.

–– Candidates should keep in mind that they will not be allowed to appear for the exam if they arrive at the test centre after the gate closes.

-–– The CTET 2024 admit card is a mandatory document and all appearing candidates must bring it to the exam hall.

Paper I – It will consist of questions from Language 1, Language 2, CDP, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.

Paper 2 – Meanwhile, paper 2 will comprise questions from Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, CDP, and Science or Social Studies/Social Sciences.

To get an understanding of the format and nature of the questions asked during the examination, candidates can review the CTET past question papers. However, candidates must finish their CTET syllabus before they can start practising with last year’s question papers. Each paper and subject’s CTET 2024 syllabus are made available separately by CBSE.
