Application Date for University of Mumbai’s PET 2021 Extended; Read Steps to Apply Here

The last date for applying to the MU PhD Entrance Test (PET) 2021 has been extended by the University of Mumbai. Aspirants can now apply for PET 2021 till the midnight of March 2, 2021 by visiting the link here. The date for MU PET 2021 has not been announced so far by the university. Previously, the last date to submit MU PET 2021 application was January 28, 2021, which was increased to February 4, 2021, which has been further increased to March 2 now.

The University of Mumbai informed PET 2021 aspirants that the last date has been extended in a tweet.

Here are the steps that MU PET aspirants can take to apply for the 2021 entrance exam:

Step 1: Visit the website http://mhpravesh.in/mupet2020/StaticPages/HomePage.aspx?did=8

Step 2: Towards the right side of the page, find the option ‘Apply Online’ and click on it

Step 3: You will be asked to enter personal and contact details like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email address, phone number and other information. Carefully enter your PhD faculty and subject. Save it and click on proceed

Step 4: After entering all the details, pay the PET 2021 application fee and submit your application

Step 5: Download your MU PET 2021 application form

Step 6: Take a print out of the form and save it for future reference

The application process for MU PET 2021 started on January 22, 2021. Those applicants interested in getting a PhD from the university have been applying for the entrance test. MU PET 2021 application fee is Rs 1,000 for general category and Rs 500 for reserved categories.

The PET 2021 examination has 100 multiple choice questions. The paper is divided in two sections, the first one called Section A has questions from topics like general awareness and methodology, while Section B has subject-specific questions.
