The Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training has commenced the online application process for the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP POLYCET 2024) today, February 20. Those interested and eligible can apply at the official website at polycetap.nic.in.
As per the schedule, AP POLYCET 2024 will be conducted on April 27. The POLYCET exam will comprise a total of 120 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) — 60 questions will be from the mathematics subject and 30 from physics and chemistry each.

As far as the eligibility criteria are concerned, applicants must have scored 35 per cent marks in class 10 from a recognised board. Talking about the age limit, there is no specified age limit for the AP POLYCET exam set by the board.

Step 1: Go to the official AP POLYCET 2024 website at polycetap.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, select the “Online application” tab.
Step 3: Register and complete the application.
Step 4: Upload all necessary documents.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the completed application form.
Step 6: Download and print the application.

Candidates belonging to general and backward class categories must pay an application cost of Rs 400, while SC and ST applicants will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 100.
Candidates seeking admission in engineering, non-engineering, and technology diploma courses in the state are required to register to appear in the entrance exam.
The AP POLYCET-2023 will be conducted on May 10 from 11 AM to 1 PM. Last year, a total of 1,38,189 students registered for the exam, out of which 1,31,627 appeared. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 91.84 per cent. It is important to note that admission to all government, aided, and unaided private polytechnic colleges in the state will be offered through the marks secured in the AP POLYCET 2024 results.
