PAK U-19 vs AFG U-19, Highlights and Scorecard: Pakistan will be going up against Afghanistan in their campaign opener of Under-19 World Cup 2024 on Saturday in East London, South Africa.
Pakistan U-19 won the toss and chose to bat first.
Pakistan U19 played two warm-up games in the lead-up to their opening game. The game against South Africa U19 was called off after Pakistan set a target of 212 runs in a 41-over game, while Pakistan lost to England U19 by nine runs as per the DLS method.
Other than these two teams, New Zealand and Nepal are also a part of Group D. So, it seems to be a three-way fight among Pakistan, Afghanistan and New Zealand for the two available spots for the Super Sixes. It will be an interesting match as both the teams will to start their campaign on a winning note.
