IND vs PAK: Hardik Pandya Celebrates With A Cold Shrug of The Shoulder Following Shadab Khan's Dismissal in Heated T20 World Cup Clash
After dismissing the all-rounder, Pandya stood still, cool and calm, as he hit a cold shrug of the shoulder in a matter-of-factly manner as he watched Shadab make his way back to the pavilion.

Delivering in crunch time? Business as usual for Hardik Pandya, who scalped Shadab Khan in the 17th over, and emoted in the coolest manner possible, shrugging it off like it was nothing as India fought to keep their chances at a win alive.

Following a shock start, where openers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were removed early, and India were left scrambling at 89-4 in the 12th over, the onus was placed on hard-hitter Shivam Dube to help his counterpart Rishabh Pant build India’s innings.

Then, a desperate and dismal stand from the middle and bottom order batters, ensured that India limped to a meagre 119 runs in 20 overs, their lowest-ever total against Pakistan in T20Is.

But, it was meant to be no cakewalk for Pakistan who, after a strong start, began to collapse as the likes of talisman pacer Jasprit Bumrah wreaked havoc with the ball to turn the tide around.

Pakistan, who were standing tall at 57-2 in the 11th over, underwent an intense collapse as they lost the top-order and standstill batter Mohammad Rizwan to go down 80-4 in the 15th over.

Facing intense pressure to keep the game alive, Pandya was handed the ball for the 17th over, when he delivered a nasty bouncer outside the leg-stump, tempting Shadab Khan to misjudge the same and recklessly pull at it, edging the ball for a catch behind the stumps by Rishabh Pant.

After dismissing the all-rounder, Pandya stood still, cool and calm, as he hit a cold shrug of the shoulder in a matter-of-factly manner as he watched Shadab make his way back to the pavilion.

Pakistan’s hopes then hung on the balance, after a stellar first innings, where they shone with the ball.

But unfortunately afterwards, it was nothing but business as usual for India in the death, as Bumrah picked up another wicket, that of Iftikhar Ahmed, and Arshdeep Singh wrapped up a close call of a game, as India clinched a nail-biting and historic 6-run win over their arch-rivals Pakistan.
