Actress Parvathi Nair Responds to Allegations of Assaulting Her Domestic Help, Read On
Parvathy Nair has denied the allegations that she assaulted her domestic help Subhash Chandra Bose.

Actress Parvathi Nair issued a clarification after several reports started doing the rounds that she abused her domestic help for allegedly stealing her items. Now, the actress has denied the allegations that she assaulted her domestic help Subhash Chandra Bose and also refuted the reports that she framed him for theft. The statement issued by her read, “Over the weekend, there are many news clips, articles and publications made concerning me alleging baseless accusations. I make this press release to clarify my stand on the issue at hand and to put an end to the hoax.”

It continued, “Even though there are several publications, it primarily alleges that I physically assaulted and abused one Mr Subash Chandra Bose and mistreated and abused one Mr Seldon George. I deny all such allegations made unequivocally as they are absolutely false and are made with sole intent to harass and defame me. Since my belongings were stolen, I lodged a complaint and secured an FIR on 20.10.2022 on the file of Nungambakkam Police Station against the said Mr Subash Chandra Bose and others. I followed due process of law and never overstepped the legal bounds to redress my grievances. With that being the case, it is illogical to allege that I assaulted and abused the said Mr Subash Chandra Bose. He was a part time helper and pet sitter who worked for me during weekends. Though I had valid reason to suspect him, I gave him benefit of doubt before lodging the police complaint. Since he was evasive in his reply, I had to lodge a police complaint to recover my belongings. Just out of pure spite, he has gone ahead and published scandalous and false information against me in social media. His interview and his statement are totally false and I deny such allegations made squarely.”

She further added, “Further, with regard to Mr. Seldon George, he was a makeup artist and his claims and complaints against me cannot be further from the truth. His interview with the press portraying me in bad light is absolutely uncalled for. Further in his interview he published unauthorized video captured in is handheld mobile device which is invasion of my privacy. He was neither authorized to capture video nor publish such video.”

Moreover, she informed that upon legal advice, she has taken the necessary steps to protect her interest legally. The actress has lodged a private complaint against Mr Bose and Mr George on the file of Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai. She has also lodged a complaint before the National Commission for Women and is filing a suit seeking an injunction to restrain publication of such false information and an injunction seeking removal of the existing publications.

“I follow law to the letter and believe in the legal system to grant justice. The publication and news items portraying me in bad light have caused severe mental stress and trauma to me. I have worked hard to make a name for myself in my chosen field with the support of all you, my friends, fans and well-wishers. I strongly urge my stand in this issue as I have committed no wrong and these publications are totally false. I lodged a police complaint since my hard-earned property was stolen. Similarly, I have lodged a complaint and taken legal recourse to rid such false information that are spread against me. I shall continue to fight the right fight and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks and gratitude to my fans, friends and well-wishers who are by my side through these testing times,” the actress concluded.

For the unversed, last month it was reported that two watches worth Rs 9 lakh, an iPhone worth Rs 1.5 lakh and a laptop worth Rs 2 lakh were stolen from actress Parvathy Nair’s house in Nungambakkam. Parvathy filed a complaint at the Nungambakkam police station against her domestic help Subhash Chandra Bose.

However, Subhash, who hails from Pudukottai, has made some serious allegations against Parvathi Nair, claiming that the actress framed him for the theft because he had seen unknown people visiting her house during night time. Talking to News18, he even said that the actress slapped her, spit on her often and mentally harassed him often ever since he noticed the people visiting her home. She even threatened to file a complaint of sexual assault against him.
