The Brundavana serial recently aired on Colors Kannada Channel and received love and appreciation from the viewers. The serial has already completed 25 episodes, however, the lead actor has been changed. Vishwanath Haveri played the role of the male protagonist, Akash, the beloved son of the Tumbu family. However, he has quit the show and now, Varun Aradhya has been roped in instead.
Brundavana stars actress Chitkala Biradar, Amulya Bharadwaj, Veena Sundar and Ambuja. Singer Vishwanath Haveri, a former Bigg Boss contestant, secured his role as the hero of the serial. He was shown to be a youngster studying abroad. Now, his quitting the show has left the viewers curious. Instead of Vishwanath, Varun Aradhya is currently the hero of the show, portraying Akash.
Varun Aradhya was quite popular on TikTok before it was banned. Later, he found fame through Instagram reels. He also has his own YouTube channel. There were rumours that Varun would be entering the Bigg Boss Kannada 10 house with his girlfriend Varsha Kaveri. However, there are reports that the couple has parted ways.
As of now, there are no reports or statements from the channel, nor the makers of the serial or Vishwanath regarding his quitting. Just a few days before, the actor in an interview spoke about his work in the new serial. He said, “It’s been 2 weeks since our serial started. We don’t know exactly what people’s reaction is, but it is more than what we expected. People are loving us and liking the serial. I’m learning something new here every day, I’m learning acting every day.”
The makers of the show also dropped a promo of the serial that showed Varun Aradhya, instead of Vishwanath Haveri. The caption read, “Pushpa has seen Akash. But, that time has not come for the groom yet.” However, it looks like the viewers are a bit disappointed with the change in the star cast.

A user commented, “Next you will cast Sonu Gowda as the heroine.” Another wrote, “Varun is not deserving to be there in our Colors Kannada.” Another user wondered, “Those who do lip sync are heroes, but what is the fate of those who go to theatre and actor’s schools and struggle?”
Only time will tell if the viewers can accept and give Varun Aaradhya a chance to portray Akash.
