After giving a tech-loaded micro electric SUV Comet to the market, JSW MG Motor is now gearing up to introduce another EV in India. Ahead of the official launch, the vehicle has been spied on during the testing phase. The company termed it as an Intelligent Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV).

It has been reported that the battery-powered model is likely to arrive in the country somewhere in the festive season. However, the company is yet to share the official details.

Here’s What to Expect from Intelligent CUV

Going by the leaked image, the vehicle looks quite good in size. It is expected to come with a fully LED headlight setup, paired with LED DRLs and integrated turn indicators.

On the side, it will get a charging socket as seen in the spy images, and might offer a decent size cladding. As the vehicle was seen fully covered with heavy camouflage, it was very hard to analyse the wheel design.

When it comes to the rear, a spoiler will be there to make it look more appealing in the segment. Customers can expect full LED treatment as well with a sweet touch of chrome at the back.

Interior

From inside, it shows a flat-bottom multi-functional steering wheel with mounted controls. For entertainment purposes, there will be a large-sized free-standing touchscreen infotainment screen. The unit is expected to support all car connect technology including Android, Apple and Auto Carplay.

Features

The other notable features include a wireless charging pad, electronic parking brake, circular rear AC vents, 360-degree camera, parking sensors at both ends and others.

Battery and Range

As far as the powertrain is concerned, it might use the same battery setup as the ZS EV. It means the model might feature a 50 kWh battery, which will offer an impressive range of around 500 km on a single charge.
